Support needed! Remote learning saves lives! Louisiana is #1 per capita in coronavirus cases, & Jeff Parish is a hotspot, but K-5 teachers will be teaching face-to-face.
We need you tomorrow (Thursday July 30th, 12 PM @ JP Schools Central Office- 501 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, LA 70058). We are standing up and standing together in solidarity for OUR LIVES and the lives of OUR students and families that we love so much. With district's all across the state and across the country making the decision to keep their students and staff safe by not putting them physically back into schools at this time, Jefferson Parish Public Schools still remain determined to put us all at grave risk. We need you to bring your colleagues, friends, family and neighbors. This is not a "school" issue, but a community issue. When we know that this rush back into brick and mortar will disproportionately impact working class black and brown students, education workers and families, we CANNOT be silent and complicit. We Must LOVE and PROTECT one another! Action items...

All are welcome: teachers, parents, students, community members.
