Mark your calendars! IWO's Democratic candidates' forums will run Tuesday, August 25 – Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 pm each night via Zoom.

Interested individuals may attend the virtual forum sessions and listen to the candidates’ responses as they prepare for the primary elections to be held on Tuesday, November 3. The forums will be held as follows:

Tuesday, August 25th
U.S. Senate
Orleans Parish School Board

Wednesday, August 26th
Public Service Commission
U.S. Congressional Representative
Civil Court
Municipal and Traffic Court
Juvenile Court

Thursday, August 27th
Criminal District Court
Criminal Magistrate Court
District Attorney
Associate Justice Supreme Court

An invitation with dial-in information and instructions will be sent prior to the event. 

Qualified voting members of IWO will be invited to a follow-up session to discuss each race and vote on IWO Endorsements on Saturday, August 29th at 3 p.m. As a reminder, IWO's bylaws specify that only members in good standing either 3 months (for new members) or 1 month (for returning members) before the endorsement meeting may vote in the endorsement meeting. Additional details will be sent to eligible voting members prior to the event.
