Get together with your Mid-City neighbors in the spirit of cleaning up our community -- through trash pickup AND anti-racist activism! We are making connections and building solidarity in our neighborhoods, and cleaning up the bayou while we do it. We'll meet up at Cabrini bridge at 8 AM and branch out along the bayou from there.

I am committing to doing this every week for at least a month and we'll see how many people come out.

This will be a COVID-safe event -- plan to connect with your neighbors from a safe distance, with a mask on. I will have some water, hand sanitizer, and extra masks, as well as some gloves and trash bags, but please feel free to bring your own, or something to share!

Please wear closed-toe shoes and gardening gloves if you have them, and clothes that can get dirty.
